Topic A: Promotion of Worldwide Gender Equality
Ever since the first time when women were entitled to vote, gender equality has been an issue especially for the developed countries like France. We are in the position of regarding Workplace Equality should be a legal right. The current situation is that women represent only 26% of the work-force, 26% of managers but less than 8% of senior management. Their basic earnings are on average 5% less than their male colleagues and this imbalance increases when bonuses are taken into account. This requires improvement as a result that the gender balance will contribute to corporate performance, social cohesion, economic effectiveness and mostly to promote the gender equality.

Topic B: Creating a new partnership for Sub-Saharan Africa in order to meet the Millennium Development Goals
Since the beginning of the 1990s, we have started a new strategy in Africa to adapt to new circumstances and developments in the post-Cold War world order and also in a context of globalization. The internal developments of both France and Africa has to pass by more cooperation, dialogue and clarity in our relations. Our goal is to maintain the stability of the African systems and form a new relationship with those former colonized countries by supporting regional security institutions. Fight against the poverty is also our priority, by allowing financial and technical helps and providing economical cooperation between Sub-Saharian countries.
